Fallout fans can kick off the year right with the first major update for Fallout 76, and it’s only the start of what’s to come.
Hopefully it’ll be a big year for Fallout, as the second season of the Amazon series is filming right now and Fallout 76 is due to get some substantial content drops later into the year.
Hopefully Fallout S2 is just as good as the first, but with that New Vegas setting I think it’s safe to say it’s in good hands
As for Fallout 76 though Bethesda has primed the multiplayer game with a 15GB patch that’ll promote stability as more content follows.

We won’t bore you with all the details but just know it makes several changes to C.A.M.P, as well as fixes plenty of pesky bugs and glitches affecting quests and other parts of the game, not the fun type of bugs either.
All of this is building towards what could possibly be the best DLC for the game yet, the option to play as a ghoul.
This was announced last year and will be available for players to experience this year, so you can finally cosplay the radiated menace from the TV series.
It’s more than just cosmetic too, it’s said it’ll change the way you play the game which sounds like an exciting change of pace.

Many are hoping this feature sticks around for Fallout 5, which will hopefully have more than just humans as an option for customisation, as it’d be great to be a ghoul, super mutant or even a synth if the game allows.
You’ve got a long wait ahead for Fallout 5 though, as it’s not even close to entering production yet.
For now, you’re stuck with Fallout 76, but with updates like this taking place across the year that’s not such a bad thing anymore.
