Dr DisRespect quietly deletes confession following latest allegations

Dr DisRespect quietly deletes confession following latest allegations

The saga continues

Last month saw well-known Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect banned from the platform after it was discovered he had been sending inappropriate messages to a minor.

Now amidst rumours that Dr DisRespect, real name Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, will be returning to streaming after a brief hiatus, he has taken to Twitter to secretly remove a confession message he had posted weeks previous.

To recap, the allegations against Beahm claim that he had been messaging an underage person back in 2020.

Although originally claiming that these accusations were false, DisRespect later confessed in a lengthy Tweet that there was some truth to the allegations.

He stated that there had been conversations with a minor that “sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate”.

“From a moral standpoint, I’ll absolutely take responsibility,” he continued.

“I should have never entertained these conversations to begin with. That’s on me.”

Beahm also took the opportunity to reveal that he would be leaving the game studio he had helped co-found and apologised for mistakes made from 2017 onwards.

Despite this confession, Dr DisRespect also announced that he would be returning to streaming after a brief hiatus and family vacation.

Now, as of 14 August, the lengthy confession post has been quietly deleted.

As well as various header changes on his Twitter profile, featuring cryptic images, this has been the only update from the streamer so it remains to be seen when he will be making a return.

However, it won’t be easy as Youtube took action to demonetise his channel after the allegations and many brands he had previously worked with have also cut ties.

As always, Kick have reportedly stepped in to offer Beahm a place on their platform.

However, Kick’s $10 million annual contract was turned down with DisRespect demanding $50m instead.
