As far as many people are concerned, it’s not been long enough since Dr DisRespect took a break from YouTube.
It’s been little over a month since YouTuber Dr DisRespect responded to allegations made against him by a former Twitch employee.
This was in reference to what really led to his infamous 2020 Twitch ban.

Those allegations claimed that Dr DisRespect had inappropriately been messaging a minor.
In the days that followed, further information only served to compound the allegations.
Despite attempting to get ahead of the claims and stop the scandal in its tracks, his own admission of “conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate” served to bring further backlash his way.
Having been removed from NBA 2K following the ban scandal, the streamer took a break ... for 36 days.

Upon sharing his first major update since the allegations came to light, few were happy to see the YouTuber return.
Now Dr DisRespect has plans to make his comeback permanent, his follower count shows that he’s struggling to keep his once loyal fans.
He’s haemorrhaging followers.
According to Social Blade, the streamer has been losing followers at 660 people per day; this roughly translates into 20,000 subscribers lost in the last 30 days.

Granted, he’s not been streaming since the real reason for his Twitch ban went public, however, that 68 percent decrease in viewers still conveys the general feeling towards him.
The question on everyone’s lips now is whether Dr DisRespect can claw his way back.
That, and whether he should even return at all.
Even after all of this, the disgraced streamer still has 2.5 million followers on Twitter alone. Yes, he’s lost subscribers, but there’s plenty of people who still support him.

That said, while many remain, it seems that Dr DisRespect has an uphill struggle on his hands when attempting to dominate streaming services again.
