Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer RPG announced, will let you explore Night City with friends

Return to Night City with friends

Soon the night will belong to you and your friends in an upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer RPG.

The pros and cons of Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer has been debated by fans ever since rumours about its inclusion in the sequel started.

Although some backed the idea, it’s largely a sequel tease that fans are unhappy about.

You can put your concerns aside for the moment, though, as this multiplayer RPG, while part of Cyberpunk 2077’s story, doesn’t alter the base game.

A crowdfunding campaign for an official board game of CD Projekt Red’s once-tarnished-now-praised game has successfully met its target.

In fact, it surpassed its goal of $100,000 in just over 10 minutes; 10 minutes four seconds to be exact.

So much not wanting multiplayer – it seems like the fandom is crying out for it.

Using one to four players, this “story-driven tactical action game” promises to deliver a “fast-paced” experience that’ll see the characters “cross the boundary between oblivion and immortality”.

It sounds exactly like what fans need while they wait for the sequel.

With most of CD Projekt Red’s resources are now focused on developing The Witcher 4, lot of time will pass before they can return to Night City.

Assuming you don’t intend to explore the streets you already know so well.

If you have another couple of playthroughs in you yet, you’ll want to check out this stunning hyper-realistic graphics refresh.

It’s so realistic, fans are in disbelief.

There are also a number of multiplayer mods for Cyberpunk 2077 already available, should you be too impatient to wait for the board game to release.

Not that we suspect it’ll take much time before reaching the market; after all, Cyberpunk’s co-director Gabriel Amatangelo said that the game was essentially complete back in March.

Early reviews of the board game have already been given, meaning that it shouldn’t be long before a launch date for this multiplayer Night City excursion is announced.
