Call of Duty fans are seriously unhappy with two of the new Operator skins which have been added to Modern Warfare II and Warzone, which allow Gustavo Rodriguez to transform into a bipedal, realistic cat.
As Dexerto reports, the new Whisker Tango bundle, which costs 2,400 CoD points (the equivalent of £16.79 in the UK), gives players some stickers, an emblem, weapon charm, vinyl, vehicle skin, a couple of weapon blueprints and a free self-revive and extra operator slot for DMZ, but it’s the Sgt. Pspsps and Sgt. Sprinkles Operator skins which have got some fans particularly upset. On one hand, it looks like the cat from Stray has escaped from its own game and chosen violence, which is really funny. However, many are complaining that with the addition of the kitties, all of CoD’s realism has gone out of the window.
Take a look at some of the funniest wins and fails from the original Warzone below.
“Remember when they advertised this game as ‘the most realistic CoD of all time?’ Yeah…” Reddit user denzlegacy wrote. “[What the f**k] happened to this game?” questioned createdrandom81. “I can't believe this is what CoD has become,” commented ArcadiousXvX.

In actuality, this is far from the first time that Call of Duty has stepped out of the realm of realism. For a start, in the game right now, it’s possible to melt enemy players by shooting lasers out of your eyes, thanks to a crossover with The Boys (admittedly, people have been complaining about that, too). Last year, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone had a crossover with Attack on Titan, an anime and manga series which is hardly true to life (thankfully).
Plenty of people love the CoD cats, though - they are pretty cute, and their names are fantastic. Whether they’re worth 2,400 CoD points is entirely up to you, though.
