If you’ve been waiting for an overhauled version of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood you’re in luck because a recent mod completely renovates the game.
Simply called ‘Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Remastered (A New Beginning)’, this NexusMods offering has already amassed 8,368 downloads. Created by QTmodz, the remastered version of ACB breathes new life into this fan-favourite.

Undoubtedly this will come as good news to fans not already aware of it, as it was just over a year ago now that Redditors were asking what the best Assassin’s Creed mods were. The original poster opened by asking “I'm really interested in playing AC Brotherhood but I don't really like the graphics, so I'm wondering if there's any mod that improves the graphics?”

Seemingly, their prayers have been answered.
According to the information listed on NexusMods, the remastered mod overhauls weather lighting and shadows, includes 4K clouds, new buildings, new street lighting, and improved interior and exterior lighting in Ubisoft’s game.
Whenever players using the mod have encountered issues, QTmodz has looked into the problem, much to the delight of everyone who’s downloaded it thus far. After its last update (July 2023), one fan said “It's really touching to see someone making mods for this ancient game to this day. Thank you for your contribution to this game!”
The love for ACB has been strong for some time now, with several threads in the AC Subreddit showing fans all praising the game for being a “gem”. One Redditor said “I just realised Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is significantly better than the second game”, while later in the thread another user posted “Some would say it’s the best ac ever made”.

Obviously, we can all um and ah about whether this is the best game of the franchise, but it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that fans of the game can enjoy a remastered version that transforms the game into a contemporary haven for assassins who want to reconnect with Ezio and Italy.
For those not bothered about returning to the older games but instead looking to the new, AC Mirage isn’t too far away now. Originally due to launch later on 12 October, Ubisoft announced that the game will release a week early on 5 Oct instead.
Naturally, fans have been celebrating the game going gold, especially because it means no more delays are coming their way.
