Palworld is going from strength to strength in recent days and the monster-taming game shows no signs of slowing down with news that it has recently surpassed 19 million players.
Released in January, Palworld has already dominated 2024 with the PocketPair game not only hitting 6,000,000 copies sold in the first four days but also becoming the second ever game to hit 2,000,000 concurrent players on Steam.

According to a post on the official Palworld Twitter account, the total number of players hunting for Pals has now exceeded an eye-watering 19,000,000. Yes, you heard that correctly.

The 19,000,000 players are spread across Steam with 12,000,000 copies sold and Xbox trailing behind with 7,000,0000. The PocketPair team took the opportunity to thank its players as well as promising a future dedicated to fixing bugs.
“Total number of players exceeds 19 million,” they wrote. “It's been less than two weeks since Palworld was released, thank you! We will continue to prioritise fixing bugs! Thank you for your continued support of PocketPair!”
These eye-watering figures appear to be just the start for the game so it is perhaps no wonder that players are experiencing up to 40-minute wait times just to get in. It seems that despite rumours of plagiarism with the game closely resembling Pokémon, it has not stopped people from diving in.
In related news, not all is sacred after a Palworld nude mod surfaced online. Although some mods are useful such as one that improves graphics and another that adds a much-needed minimap, it seems as though some modders have more NSFW interests.

It remains to be seen what other records Palworld is set to break but we for one can’t wait to see.
