It’s been a strange few months for Disney Plus. There’s no denying that Marvel and Star Wars content is a major draw for many subscribers, yet so many people are sleeping on some of the streamer’s recent efforts - efforts which just so happen to be their best. I cannot stress how good Andor is but there’s an evident lack of hype on my timeline every Wednesday.
Over in the land of Marvel, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel had similar stories. Upon release, Moon Knight’s premiere became the lowest-rated MCU TV series debut and it’s deserving of so much more love. Thankfully, Marvel have noticed the potential in Moon Knight despite the show’s lacklustre viewership and it looks like Oscar Isaac is now in talks to return to the role.
Speaking of Marvel, the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is just around the corner. Take a look at the latest trailer below.
In an interview with ComicBook, Isaac noted that whilst a second season hadn’t officially been confirmed, he was in talks with Marvel. The actor said, “There have been some specific conversations. They were pleasant. The spilling of the details is that there's no details. We don't know [if there will be a second season], but we're talking about it."

He continued, “Truthfully, it's about the story. Is there a story worth telling? Is it interesting? Will I feel embarrassed about it when it comes out? So it's just about, is there something worth pouring everything you have into, and with Moon Knight, that was very much about that. It's creating a structure so that every morning when the alarm went off, I couldn't wait to get to the set because I wanted to try something different."
If you cast your mind back to Moon Knight’s ending, the series introduced a third personality of Moon Knight known as Jake Lockley, so it would certainly be a disappointment if we didn’t end up getting to explore this character. Come on Marvel, you know what to do.
