One of Netflix’s most watched TV series is being removed from the platform soon, and fans aren't particularly thrilled that they've only got a few weeks left to enjoy it.
As far as streaming services go, Netflix is particularly notorious when it comes to shows coming and going. On more than one occasion I've logged on to watch a series only to discover it's been gone for some time. A lesson that you should never take things for granted? Maybe.
Of course it is possible to plan ahead using services like What’s On Netflix, which compiles regular lists of what’s leaving the streaming site.

It's this website that currently reports that one of Netflix's most-binged series is being removed from multiple international regions in just a matter of weeks. Apparently The Office (US), a show I've watched all the way through on Netflix more times than I'd care to admit, is to leave the streaming service in the UK on January 1 2023. I hope your New Year's Day hangover plans didn't extend to enjoying some time with the Dunder Mifflin crew.
The show will also be removed from Netflix in Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey the day before.
To be honest it's amazing The Office (US) has stuck around for as long as it has. We were all bracing ourselves for its removal from Netflix when NBC's own streaming service, Peacock, came into effect in 2021.
