Netflix's The Witcher is recasting even more characters for season 4

Netflix's The Witcher is recasting even more characters for season 4

Out with the old and in with the new

Season four of The Witcher is set to air some time next year and alongside a brand-new face, it seems as though some familiar faces will be making a return.

With just a few weeks left on production for season four of Netflix’s The Witcher, talk has turned to what we can expect from the highly-anticipated show.

Fans of The Witcher should also check out the animated Netflix series, Sirens of the Deep, below!

Based on the novels and video game series with the same name, The Witcher franchise has garnered itself a dedicated fanbase over the past few years.

So it is no wonder that fans are eagerly anticipating the next season, even if this one will be headed by a brand-new face.

Season four will see Henry Cavill be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in the main role of Geralt of Rivia but luckily, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Joey Batey will be reprising their roles as Yennefer, Ciri and Jaskier respectively.

However, it seems as though Cavill won’t be the only actor stepping down as reports have revealed that Kim Bodnia will not be returning as Vesemir.

Although he only starred in a few scenes in season two and beyond, he still managed to capture Geralt’s mentor perfectly. As of now, it is unclear who will be replacing him but they will have big shoes to fill.

Other than that, we also know that fellow Witchers Lambert and Coen will star in season four and Paul Bullion and Zates Atour will be reprising their roles.

With production soon wrapping up, we can expect to see a lot more of the upcoming season over the next few months.

It has also been reported that there will be a four-month break between filming but then work on season five will begin.

Season five will be the last season of Netflix’s The Witcher and we hope that it goes out with a bang.
