There are few feelings worse than getting really into a new TV series, only to see it get cancelled before reaching its conclusion. Fans of Netflix’s Fate: The Winx Saga (the live-action adaptation of the animated Nickelodeon show, Winx Club) were left incredibly disappointed recently when it was announced that the series is over for good, despite being left on a huge cliffhanger at the end of season two.
Just this week, it was announced that two 2022 shows, The Imperfects and Partner Track, have also been cancelled after just a single season, leaving even more viewers frustrated. However, Netflix’s current number one show has quite the opposite tale, as it’s been pulled from the depths of cancellation hell.
Take a look at Netflix’s current number one show, Manifest, below.
As reported by LADbible, Manifest is a supernatural drama series about a group of aeroplane passengers who suddenly re-appear after being missing and presumed dead for over five years. Spooky, mysterious stuff. Anyway, you can understand why people were gutted when after three seasons of airing on NBC, it was cancelled and left on a cliffhanger.

However, Netflix stepped in and took the lead on the fourth season, which just released last week, and has been going down exceptionally well with viewers. In just seven days, season four has been streamed for over 57 million hours by fans across the globe. To put it into perspective, that’s the equivalent of over 6500 years of viewing time, which is mind-boggling.
In other Netflix news, Stranger Things fans have been making theories surrounding the name of season five’s first episode, and wondering what it could mean. In case you missed it, it’s titled ‘The Crawl’, and some are thinking (or perhaps just really hoping) that it could be hinting at the return of a fan-favourite character. We’ll just have to wait and see.
