Funnily enough, it looks like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II will feature a Zombies mode in spite of Infinity Ward being firm on the fact that the iconic monsters will be loafing off this year.
There was no ability to misinterpret the PR's statement in the Modern Warfare II question and answer session from June. While developers were given free rein to answer anything about the technology, engine, graphical enhancements, collaboration between the Call of Duty teams and so on, the spokesperson leapt into the conversation with all the vigor of someone really really really trying to keep a secret. "There will be no Zombies," they replied to the attending press.

And yet. Dataminer cod_sploitzimgz (bless you) was digging into the code of the game's campaign and excavated some curious artefacts seemingly suggesting that Zombies is on its way to Modern Warfare II. cod_sploitzimgz found two things called "Outbreak" and "Round Based Zombies." Difficult to deny what this could be inferring. But before we get ahead of ourselves, it's very plausible that these references are actually left over from a point in development when Zombies was still on the cards.
If this was the case, I don't think Activision would have been this hasty to issue DMCAs. It might be protecting its reputation in scouring the Internet for false information about the game, and we all know how capricious Call Of Duty fans can be. In any event, we'll have to wait and see if undead soldiers start to sprout in the future. 'Tis the season after all.
