Do you remember that scene from The Simpsons where Sideshow Bob is surrounded by rakes? Seemingly no matter where he steps he'll step on a rake slamming straight into his noggin again and again. Not only is this obviously top tier comedy, it's what I'm reminded of when I read Infinity Ward and Activision's latest decisions about Call of Duty.
Only a month ago was Modern Warfare II's Ground War winding players up for its issues with control, letting players run rampant with sniper rifles and pick off players with ease. In contrast with Warzone 2.0, it's practically paradise on Earth, however that isn't absolving it of the fact that the new update might have just broken the game in its entirety.

"So I’ve just done the new update which was around 300mb and now I can’t even load the game without it crashing… never had an issue with the game until now," said HBizzle24 on the Modern Warfare II subreddit. Not every player is struggling with the update, it's important to note, but this technical hiccup is more than frustrating. At least with these reports scattered to the subreddit's wind, the community managers can feedback to the developers and roll out a fix.
Well, while you're here, have some good news. Gunfight and Gun Game might be on the way to the game shortly following a dataminer's discovery of logos corresponding to the modes. Modern Warfare II's second season will roll out at some point in late January or early February, so there's not long to sit on your thumbs.
