It’s officially reached that time of year where I just cannot keep up with the sheer amount of major releases. If you’re not journeying through the glitch-ridden Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, chances are you’re probably trying to save the world in God of War Ragnarök. Before that, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II landed which already feels like months ago. How time flies.
For the most part, MWII is a massive success story. It’s officially Call of Duty’s most-successful launch of all-time, plus fans are loving the “incredible” campaign and brand new features like the anti-camping tool. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows though. A glitch in the new Shoot House map has left many fans feeling very frustrated.
Take a look at Modern Warfare II’s version of All Ghillied Up below.
I say new, Shoot House actually first appeared in 2019’s Modern Warfare but the fan-favourite map was added to MWII as a part of last week’s season one launch. The problem is, fans are reporting that the map includes several invisible walls which are blocking projectiles across the map. As reported by PC Gamer, the glitch was spotted by Reddit user Perzonic.

“PSA: Shoot house just has random giant invisible walls that completely block bullets and projectiles,” Perzonic said. “There's also one in the upstairs building you can't even walk through.” The user accompanied their post with a video showcasing the issue. Take a look below.
The invisible walls didn’t go unnoticed by other players. Twitter user RiddimJxke wrote, “I don’t remember an invisible wall on OG Shoot House,” while ApollosMission added, “Invisible wall in Shoot House. Bruh, I thought I was just washed.”
As annoying as this issue is, I shouldn’t imagine it’ll be too much of a task for Infinity Ward to release a patch. So far, devs have been pretty speedy when it comes to responding to issues brought up by fans, which is somewhat of a relief after some of the FPS experiences we’ve had lately. I’m looking at you Halo: Infinite and Battlefield 2042.
