It’s less than two months to go until the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, but gamers are an excitable sort, and Call of Duty games in particular always seem to experience enough leaks to sink a small ship, so you know what that means. That’s right, we’re back into “take it with a pinch of salt” territory - this time, concerning the game’s campaign mode.
But before we get into it, check out some official gameplay footage from Modern Warfare II below.
As reported by GameSpot, over on Twitter, @3rbbcod has been sharing what appears to be footage from Modern Warfare II’s campaign mode. At the time of writing, the clips shared have been taken down “in response to a report by the copyright owner” (which certainly implies they may be legitimate), but a compilation of all the footage has been posted on Streamable (shared by Reddit user PK-Ricochet).

While the footage isn’t exactly super clear, one of the scenes shown sees the player jump into the back of a vehicle, take control, and race after enemies, shooting at them as they go. Everyone on Reddit seems to have come to the same conclusion - it has big Uncharted vibes.
“That vehicle section looks really cool. Very reminiscent of the Uncharted 2 section where you're jumping from truck to truck,” wrote PamPamParam3. “One of the best and most thrilling sequences of any video game ever,” replied Interesting_Exit4329.
Keep in mind that as of now, the legitimacy of this footage hasn’t been confirmed - even if it is real, it’s not known for sure if it’s from Modern Warfare II - that’s just what fans have been assuming. On 15 September, more of the game is set to be shown off (officially) during Call of Duty Next, so there’s not long to wait for that.
