The FPS genre is dominated by franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield, but fans want something different - a remake of Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault.
Released in 2002, Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault was developed by 2015 Inc and published by EA, exclusively for PC. It’s your standard wartime FPS where you play as an American soldier, storming bases, mowing down Nazis, and taking part in historical battles like D-Day. It also had a multiplayer offering, where players and teams would go head-to-head in deathmatches and compete for objectives. The story of the game was also written by none other than Steven Spielberg, so it had that going for it as well.
It was released to critical acclaim, with many of its levels compared to the hit film Saving Private Ryan. It did see a few re-releases in compilation titles but aside from those it hasn’t been touched since.

Six Days in Fallujah is an upcoming tactical shooter.
Now, fans are calling for its return through a remake. Reddit user salad_dressing_dude shared a picture of the title along with the caption, “In the age of remakes, do us all a favour.”
Safe to say other fans were in agreement, many of which had fond memories of the game, as well as praising it’s gameplay and well-written story. “First time I ever heard the iconic Garand 'ping'. Still sounds the best too IMO," one user wrote while another added, "Amazing campaign by Steven Spielberg, excellent multiplayer. I wish we could experience this again in the current gen.”

“This was my favourite FPS shooter by a mile. Awesome memories and good times. Destroyed Village, Hunt, Southern France, Algiers, V2, Bridge, etc some of my fave levels lol and my god, did I ever love the lean function," someone added. “The single player was legendary too, it was basically Saving Private Ryan the game," one fan commented.
More Medal of Honor games wouldn’t go amiss. In fact, the last home-console title was Medal of Honor: Warfighter in 2012. The most recent entry in the series was a VR game called Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond which was released in 2020, so a new entry in the series on current-gen hardware would be good to see.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault isn't the only EA game fans are demanding a remake for either, as they’re also gunning for Battlefield 3 remake, complete with its iconic multiplayer modes.
