The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is on the horizon, and fan theories are already running rampant. Many of us are still in denial over the death of a certain well-loved character at the end of season four, and have been considering how they could still be brought back (full disclosure, I’d be totally here for that).
While you're here, be sure to take a look at this incredible behind the scenes footage from Stranger Things (spoiler warning, obviously).
Many fans out there though are more concerned for the wellbeing of their remaining favourites, and I’m not going to lie, an interview with Maya Hawke, AKA Robin, has got me very nervous. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Hawke was asked if she agreed with the idea that the Duffer Brothers need to kill off more characters next season.

“Well, it’s the last season, so people are probably going to die. I would love to die and get my hero’s moment. I’d love to die with [honour], as any actor would,” she said. “But I love the way that the Duffer Brothers love their actors. The reason that they write so beautifully for me and for everyone else is because they fall in love with their actors and their characters, and they don’t want to kill them. I think that’s a beautiful quality that they have, and I wouldn’t wish it away.”
As a ride or die Robin fan, I can’t say I’m thrilled with the prospect of her death, but we’ll just have to see what happens. More positively, Hawke revealed that she’d actually be down for a spinoff series featuring her and Steve, with the condition that Joe Keery was also on board. “He’s an excellent coworker, and I would do anything with him,” she said. Honestly? Same.
