Marvel officially bringing back Scarlet Witch in wild new series

Marvel officially bringing back Scarlet Witch in wild new series

Scarlet Witch is back

Scarlet Witch is back and she’s going up against her old rival, Agatha Harkness. The classic character is getting a brand-new comic and storyline that sees her going back to school.

In the latest Marvel Unlimited exclusive, House of Harkness Infinity Comic #1, we’ll get to see Scarlet Witch in an alternate universe story like nothing we’ve seen before.

If you're looking for more Marvel adventures, you should check out X-Men '97 on Disney+

This new adventure will not only give us an alternate version of Wanda Maximoff, but we’ll also get a look at some familiar faces, Stephen Strange, Loki, and Morgan Le Fay.

This comic is described by Marvel as a magical mystery that unfolds at the mystical House of Harkness.

Created by writer, Preeti Chhibber, the Infinity Comic comes with art from Jodi Nishijima and Kiichi Mizushima.

The first issue is described as “the first sixteen years of her life, Agatha Harkness reigned supreme at the House of Harkness, the magical boarding school run by her family for the last sixteen generations.”

You know where this is going, right? Enter Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, who is going to cause a bit of chaos.

Wanda arrives at the House of Harkness and is described as “a latecomer student with raw natural talent and the drive to rise above all expectations.”

There will be plenty of magic and tension in this series as Wanda and Agatha face off against a backdrop of school life and the Marvel universe at large.

Chhibber discusses their version of Wanda as “driven, she's a fighter, and she knows what she wants and is willing to do what she needs to do to get it. Only now, she's doing that at 16 in a magical school.”

It sounds like these rivals are getting the high school drama treatment that won’t be shy with doling out plenty of magical action, and you can read it on Marvel Unlimited right now.
