Hogwarts Legacy fans have been sharing secrets and tales of the popular action RPG but this secret in particular will make the hairs stand up on your neck (probably).
“Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Make allies, battle Dark wizards, and ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it. Live the Unwritten,” reads the synopsis of Hogwarts Legacy.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if fans are still sharing newly discovered secrets of Hogwarts Legacy a couple of years from now, regardless of whether we’re already indulging in the expected sequel.
With Hogwarts Legacy secrets in mind, Reddit users have been sharing their tales with fellow members on a thread. “Tell me why I’ve been playing since release and only just now stumbled upon the detention room,” asked Round_Vanilla_3931.
According to lore, the detention room is a place where students used to be punished for bad behaviour and was once a place where torture was committed. Thankfully, that concept is no longer present in Hogwarts Castle.

The detention room/chamber can be accessed when venturing into the Slytherin Dungeons. “I think it has one of the pages you need for the completion achievement,” said FieryPhoenix7, to which Round_Vanilla_3931 replied that despite this, the room was still missed.
Other members of the thread shared other secrets such as the room known as ‘The Deathday Party Room’ which can be accessed by completing the main quest, ‘The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament’, and much more. It’s an interesting thread but please be wary of potential spoilers.
