Hogwarts Legacy has been in the hands of the masses for almost a month now and fans are as enchanted as they were.
Well, the majority of fans. Once the sparkly sheen of a new Harry Potter game started to dwindle, players poked holes in Hogwarts Legacy. Our own review referred to the fact that combat becomes stale as it relies on the structures you've already seen and played before, and fans have said that repetitiveness, from puzzles to the story's choices, is where the RPG stumbles. And don't even get them started on the prize for finishing all 95 Merlin Trials.
Still, a game can have opportunities to improve and be an enjoyable outing overall at the same time. For a few though, the association with author J. K. Rowling is in fact too significant for them, and rather than supporting the game, they've turned their attention to fundraisers for LGBT charities. Avalanche Software has also been addressing the technical issues that PC players have been grappling with too, though this glitch that "turned" the player into a frog is somewhat on theme.

Check out the scrapping sets of armor that the player can see in Hogwarts Legacy - clearly that hatchet is buried shallow:
"I was exploring a cave in my vivarium and now I'm a frog. Please send help," pleaded Reddit user aaronhowser1, and lo and behold, the video shows the camera centred on a little frog on the sand. All of the player's spells remain and thanks to the species of this creature, its crest does look like a crown on its head, like it has usurped the wizard to be the true protagonist of Hogwarts Legacy.
Per the comments, this isn't the only time this has happened, though players took the opportunity to pelt aaronhowser with puns. If this glitch does trigger in your game, the fix is to reload or fast travel away from the area and your temporary transfiguration will be no more.
