Hogwarts Legacy is certainly a gift that keeps on giving with fans often finding new features both intended and unintended, both of which relate to today’s story.
When Hogwarts Legacy was released in February 2023 it became a game that lived up to the expectations of Wizarding World fans allowing them to live a Harry Potter-inspired fantasy life only ever seen in the movies and novels.
Check out the Hogwarts Legacy trailer below!
“Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Make allies, battle Dark wizards, and ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it,” reads the description of the game.

Recently, Hogwarts Legacy benefited from a free summer update which not only brought previously exclusive PlayStation content on other platforms but also a photo mode so that fans can share their favourite moments with the Wizarding World community.
The only thing that the summer update was missing was a new game plus mode, which is currently only accessible in Hogwarts Legacy on PC and if you download certain mods. Hopefully, the developers at Avalanche Software will release an official new game plus mode one day.
Not deterred by the lack of a new game plus, Hogwarts Legacy fans on Reddit have been making the most out of the photo mode. However, I don’t think the NPCs of Hogwarts Legacy are as delighted as the fans.
“Immersive student selfies in Photo Mode,” announced Redditor No_Contribution_5871. “For anyone who doesn't know, you can bump into some students studying at night all around the map, but especially in Hogwarts Castle.”

In a nutshell, No_Contribution_5871 explained that by bumping into the NPCs and making a few tweaks in photo mode, you can make them look like they’re studying, fully immersed in their work on the floor.

I must admit, the screenshots created by No_Contribution_5871 do look impressive, but I can't help but think that the NPC in the first photo resembles a death stare from a certain member of the GAMINGbible team.
