Hogwarts Legacy players have discovered a message that seemingly hints at the sequel, but is that what it’s really doing or is this just wishful thinking?
There’s no doubt in our minds that a Hogwarts Legacy sequel is on its way.
However, we know little about what it’ll include save the unfortunate possibility of live service elements.

Sorry, but them’s the breaks after live service has seemingly been confirmed.
Warner Bros will undoubtedly face heavy backlash when the next title launches, but for now, fans are choosing to focus on other sequel teasers.
One of which was found by Redditor juustyuri.
The magic of Hogwarts Legacy is waiting for you
Sharing a screenshot taken from Hogwarts Legacy’s Undercroft, the message discovered in-game reads, “Percival is hiding something”.

As the OP states, this is an unanswered question they hope is addressed in the next game.
“This sentence intrigues me so much. I want to know more. I NEED to know more. Wish I could just cast Reparo on that painting in Feldcroft,” they remarked.
Even though other fans are just as curious as to what this cryptic message means, they’re not convinced it teases the sequel.
User mutant_mamba said, “I don't believe the statement is supposed to mean anything, other than the fact that Percival recognises a problem with Isidora and starts keeping his knowledge away from her.”

While it might not be the origins for the sequel’s narrative, it’s still got the ol’ brain cogs ticking over trying to figure out if Percival really was the issue.
“I mean Percival literally stated at the end all that was set up was to ensure WE made the exact same choice as them,” explained Track_Long.
“That is enormously egotistical. Plus, we don't get to speak to Isidora at all so much for two sides of the coin. I want Isidora’s side. PERIOD.”
We just want to know all the secrets.

The next instalment could give us that dramatic reveal we’ve been longing for, or it could prove to offer the same enigmatic hints.
Either way, we’re here for it.
