It's possible that Harry Potter will be enrolled in the magical school for witches and wizards in Hogwarts Legacy. No, we're not having you on. The game is set in the 19th century, yet thanks to this theory from a fan, the game may feature a never before seen Potter ancestor.
Hogwarts Legacy has hit a delay, pushing its release to February of next year. Be that as it may, the hype for the RPG remains high, with potential players rinsing every tidbit of information that Warner Bros supplies about the game on Reddit for possible features, characters and theories. The most intriguing of these is the idea that we might be able to explore and swim in the Black Lake, and of what we saw in The Goblet of Fire, it's brimming with mystery and magical beasts. Now that it occurs to me, Hogwarts School is definitely unsafe. How did parents send off their kids year in, year out with a smile on their face when there is a giant squid in the pond.
Take a look at the latest trailer for the game, showing off the impressive immersive additions for the PlayStation 5 version of the game.
This theory about Harry Potter, though, is professedly "tongue-in-cheek", said Redditor TheSSMinnowJohnson. There's no way for The Boy Who Lived to be present at Hogwarts during the time that Hogwarts Legacy is set. That Time-Turner would have to be powered with rocket fuel. However, it is possible that a Harry Potter is in classes at the same time as the protagonist. As per lore from the Wizarding World website, the great-grandfather of Harry Potter is Henry Potter and he was born prior to 1892.

The newspaper seen in the State of Play showcase of Hogwarts Legacy shows that the year is 1890. Considering these two facts, as well as Henry's stint in the Wizengamot from 1913 to 1921, it is possible that this character will be enrolled in Hogwarts School in 1890, tying the books and the game together with a neat nod. We'll have to wait and see.
