Having endured such a long wait, knowing that GTA VI will be out by this time next year doesn’t seem real.
As far as Redditor prog84 is concerned, it’s “kind of surreal”.
We understand where they’re coming from.

Here at GAMINGbible, we’ve been covering the good, the bad, and the ugly of GTA VI since before its first trailer was revealed.
To know that come December 2025 we should be playing the new game rather than speculating about it feels like foolish optimism.
Here it is: the one, the only GTA VI trailer
Yet, provided no delays occur, that’s the reality we’ll all be living in.

What is more, we’ll be inundated with a “ton of marketing” to celebrate the game’s imminent launch, so prog84 theorises.
At the moment, we’ve yet to get that second trailer; Rockstar Games is really dragging this out, uncomfortably so.
Still, logic would dictate that its launch year means that the information will come thick and fast in a bid to ensure everyone is adequately hyped about GTA VI.
Even concerns that the game will be “samey” aren’t enough to quell the flames of exhilaration as the second trailer drop inches closer (we hope).

Having spotted some suspicious Rockstar activity, fans are convinced said trailer will be revealed soon.
Returning to the matter at hand, other gamers think it’s even more surreal to know that Rockstar employees are playing GTA VI right now.
“It’s weird to think there’s people out there playing it right now in an almost fully playable state,” said Jaded_Owl4811.
Sadly, not everyone is confident that the game will launch without any hiccups.

“There's no chance it comes out next year. I hopeeeee it does, but Rockstar always delays GTA,” argued BananaPapii.
Plenty of other fans agree with them.
However, we want to join the OP in their optimism, for it would be nice to think that GTA VI will be released without any problems.
Call it clowning if you want to, we’re too busy getting hyped about autumn 2025.
