Another week, another theory surrounding the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI’s second official trailer.
It is a brand-new week and a brand-new month and with this month celebrating the one-year anniversary of the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, we can finally say that it has been a year since we received any news from Rockstar Games.

However, with a second trailer expected to drop any day now, fans are speculating as to when it will be and with the “moon theory” now being debunked, it is time to move on to the next one.

This time we have turned our attention from the sky to a French Twitter account which also happens to have history with GTA VI leaks.
The fan-page, known as GTAVIBESFR, made a name for itself back in July 2023 when it claimed that the first GTA VI trailer would “see Lucia in prison at the beginning”.
When the first trailer launched in December of that year, the cinematic did indeed kick off with footage of our new protagonist, Lucia, in prison which led fans to believe that this Twitter account had insider knowledge.
Now it seems as though GTAVIBESFR is back and this time, they are claiming that the second trailer will drop in December 2024 with Grand Theft Auto VI “scheduled for late October 2025”.

They claim that this information comes from the same source they had previously been in contact with ahead of the release of the first trailer in 2023.
“This morning I received a message from the same person (who I will keep anonymous) who sent me this information months before trailer one,” they wrote on Twitter.
“I can only say that this person is a reliable source that some people know.”
As you can expect, this news was soon shared online and sparked a discussion over on r/GTA6.

“Beware, this account also shares a lot of fake news, maybe there will be a few things this month, but don't take this account as the absolute truth,” one user said, referring to the fact that this Twitter account supported the “moon theory” last month.
Another said: “If Rockstar follows the exact strategy of dropping stuff like they did with GTA 5 and RDR2, then it is obvious the trailer will drop this month (one trailer per year).”
It remains to be seen if this account is legit but let’s be real, this information would not be hard to guess either way so I'd urge you take this 'leak' with enormous pinches of salt.
