GTA VI feels like one of the most closely guarded secrets in existence right now. I bet there are military operations out there with more transparency.
That hasn’t stopped fans from putting on their tinfoil hats and trying to guess just about every aspect of the game though, from when it’s coming out to whether there’s a fishing minigame included.
We can’t blame them, the trailer set the hype meter pretty high and it’s hardly gone down since.
The whiteboard of theories has a new entry now though; the end of March will supposedly bring us either a second trailer or the announcement of one.

Rockstar Games hasn’t made any indication that this is the case, it’s solely based on coincidence and pure copium for the time being.
GameRoll on Twitter suggests, “Borderlands 4 recently got its second trailer and it launches in seven months. If GTA VI was to follow this same pattern, then we can expect Rockstar to drop trailer two towards the end of March. We have no reason to worry. Take-Two just utilises shorter marketing cycles these days.”
We have to say, the timing works as there’s no sign of a delay taking place so the marketing is going to have to ramp up sooner or later.
Of course, we need to take this for what it actually is, a theory, one we’d love to believe and will be keeping a close eye on but a theory nonetheless.

When that second trailer does roll around though, it’s almost guaranteed to break the internet yet again, something GTA VI is likely going to continue doing for a long time.
The first trailer shattered multiple records in terms of views and the reception from fans was ludicrous, that’s with it being released earlier than planned too.
At the time of writing GTA VI is still scheduled for launch sometime towards the end of this year, so stay-tuned for updates.
