If there is one thing we spend most of our time doing in Grand Theft Auto, it’s running from the police.

In a game that encourages crime, having to deal with the consequences is part of everyday life and with Grand Theft Auto VI expected to push the boundaries of gaming, we can only imagine that its police force is going to be a lot more realistic.

Check out the first official trailer for GTA VI below!

That definitely seems like the case courtesy of leaked videos which surfaced online a few years back.

Although the footage has since been removed by Rockstar, fans who saw it still took the time to share some details and that includes more information on a featured police chase.

In a post over on r/GTA6, one user details how “there’s a video where a player is on a truck bed aiming shooting at two police cars chasing.

One of the cars rams into a street sign and bollard, knocking them down while only the bumper end by the wheel (not the whole bumper) pops off and slides across the street before hitting the curb and sliding and stopping another direction.

This same car goes on to hit a boulder near the sidewalk and flies into a nearby tree, stopping the car and making it fall straight down.”

This brief synopsis gives us a glimpse at how detailed Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be which is not surprising considering a more recent leak reveals that the game’s “next-gen” gameplay is focusing more on realism.

“By this point your driver is far away now but you see the tree branches sway,” the post continues.

“I thought the bumper end breaking off the car was interesting, and especially that it hit a curb and slid the other direction before stopping.”

The user believes that this scene was a mix of cutscene and gameplay which makes it even more impressive if the realism continues outside of scripted content.

Of course, the videos are no longer available so it is worth taking this news with a pinch of salt.
