GTA VI footage has once again left fans in total awe.
Our insight into GTA VI’s gameplay is limited, however, that doesn’t mean we can’t recognise or appreciate how far the franchise has come.
When comparisons of earlier GTA titles are put against the in-game footage from GTA VI, we can’t help but be gobsmacked.

Here's the same GTA VI trailer.
One GTA fan shared a side-by-side image of a screenshot taken from GTA III and GTA VI on r/GTA6.
It’s quite a striking juxtaposition.

And while some will argue we’ve yet to see true in-game footage, many believe that the trailer isn’t far off the level of graphics we’ll see when actually playing the game.
Before anyone quips how it’s been 24 years since GTA III was released, fans are more than aware of this.
Yet, those same fans still believe it’s incredible how much change has happened in that time window.
“Games have come a really long way. I'm fkn old as s**t, I've seen every console release and it was always a dream to see games get more and more realistic and immersive,” commented f0r3aL84.

“I'm just happy I got to live this far and witness how far we've come. S**t is wild, dude. I probably got about 30 to 40 years left in me and I'm stoked to see how far games will go before I leave this world.”
In truth, Rockstar Games has likely only scratched the surface of what it’s truly capable of.
“20 years from now is gonna be wild,” remarked another fan.

It isn’t just the graphical advancements that have fans hyped about the new game, it’s also its leaked weapons list.
As usual, what’s been shared isn’t confirmed content, meaning we once again have to take everything with a pinch of salt.
It’s almost as if a second trailer announcement might help clear up all this fact from fiction…?
Annoying though the lack of new content is, everything we've seen thus far suggests we're in for a visual treat if nothing else.
