Today officially marks the one year anniversary of the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer and with fans hoping that this means another is on the way, it seems Rockstar is not in any rush.
One year ago today, the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was released and took the world by storm.
Check out the trailer in all of its glory below!
Amassing over 90 million views in just 24 hours, the trailer gave us our first look at the game we have been waiting over a decade for as well as our first glimpse at our brand-new protagonists, Jason and Lucia.

We got to see Vice City once more as well as its surrounding areas and it seems as though Rockstar is going all out with its next entry in the much-loved Grand Theft Auto series.
However, with GTA VI not expected to launch for another year, fans want more and are hoping that the one-year anniversary of the first trailer will mean that another is on the way any day now.
As a result, we are all on high alert and the excitement built just yesterday when Rockstar took to social media to make an announcement.
However, it is not what we were expecting.

Instead of the highly-anticipated trailer, the studio was just taking the time to reveal patch notes for Red Dead Redemption 2 instead which, although good for RDR2 fans, was not the news we were hoping for.
“RDR2 patch notes instead of Trailer 2??” one player posted to r/GTA6 along with a clip of Joker’s last laugh in Batman: Arkham City.
“At this point we'll get 60fps on consoles for Red Dead Redemption before trailer 2,” another user added.
With Rockstar keeping its cards close to its chest, the second GTA VI trailer could arrive this week, next month or even in a couple of months from now but for everyone’s sake, let us hope it releases soon.
