It’s another day, which means we’ve woken up this morning to another round of GTA VI rumours claiming that the second trailer is arriving on 1 April, no joke.
We were treated to the first GTA VI trailer in December 2023 with an accompanying launch window of 2025, which is currently set for late this year, assuming it suffers no delay. However, it’s now been well over a year since that trailer and despite fans hoping the second trailer would have arrived by now, we’re still left waiting.

That being said, I roll my eyes as I type this, but new rumours are making the rounds that the second trailer for the next entry in Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series will unironically release on 1 April aka April Fool’s Day.

“Some of the oldest and most respected creators have claimed to have received a ‘credible tip off’ supporting the idea that GTA VI trailer two will arrive in early April,” wrote Redditor LFCameron7.
“April fools guys, GTA VI was never made in the first place,” jokes CheeseisSwell with Cecil475 adding “Honestly, it wouldn't be very surprising at this point.”

“I have a theory that the new trailer could drop anytime between now and the end of time,” said a sarcastic GasTo1991.
“I genuinely believe these guys have no insider information at all and their podcast is a regurgitation of things posted either on GTA forums or on this subreddit,” claimed Avaral35.
“Do it on April 1st, Rockstar Games. You know it would be hilarious,” said TheOtherOtherLuke.
By now, we all know that we should take all speculation with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise, especially when it comes to GTA VI. That being said, typically, the second trailer will likely be shadow-dropped by Rockstar Games following leaked information.
