A supposed GTA VI leak has made it to the Reddit boards and fans are split between tearing it apart for being blatantly fake, or giving the post some credence.

It all revolves around a short description of what a player has seen while unofficially watching footage of GTA VI.

One day I'll get to put a second trailer for GTA VI here, but not today.

In the Reddit post, you can see that the leaker discusses the minutiae of Vice City and describes the tiny details like police setting up crime scenes and construction being more realistic.

What they describe could very well be the tiny details Rockstar Games is known for, or it could be grasping at straws for clout.

“So he watched hours of the game and his biggest takeaway is trash on the ground has physics,” says the top comment.

Fordfanatic2025 comments, “There's just no way. The level of detail they're describing here would be basically impossible to achieve, and would be insanely impractical to incorporate into a game as big as GTA VI.”

Though, this is instantly challenged by another user who says, “Rockstar is known for setting up new standards and introducing revolutionary systems in their games. All of this is feasible in their engine.”

A user called beehappy32 lives up to their username by being optimistic and noting, “I’d like to believe it. Sounds pretty great.”

To be fair, it’s not so hard to believe that Rockstar Games is going the extra mile when it comes to immersion and details.

Whether this ‘leak’ is just educated guesswork, we’ll have to wait to find out.

Many of the Redditors point out that it could be true, as they’ve likely seen a tester checking for bugs throughout the open world.

As Particular_Hand2877 says, “It's more believable than someone listing off a bunch of huge things. Actually giving these small details makes this seem believable, though it's probably fake."

This year is the year we find out for ourselves, of course.
