You claim free downloads in GTA V, more specifically, GTA Online right now but you need to act fast unless you’re willing to miss out.
When players are done with the single-player campaign of Grand Theft Auto V, they can cause all sorts of mayhem in GTA Online and annoy everyone with their shenanigans. Well, you could be part of a well-oiled heist team, but where would the fun be in that?
Check out the GTA Online trailer below!
GTA Online is included with purchases of GTA V or you can purchase it as a standalone product. Rockstar Games supports GTA Online with a wealth of free content updates (mostly as a tactic to entice in-game purchases), but still, nonetheless, it’s great to see the game so well supported.

The latest event is now live in GTA Online and it’s all about celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year, which just so happens to be the year of the Chinese Wood Snake. Hopefully, there’ll be a few more events in the bag to keep us busy until GTA VI finally arrives.
As with most free GTA Online events, players can earn exclusive DLC and bonuses such as XP and currency just by playing the game, and the most recent event is no exception.

One such bonus will reward you with a plethora of Lunar New Year gifts including the Black Snake Yogarishima outfit, Gray Snake King Cap, Red Serpent Leather Jacket, Red Snake Soup Cap, Snake King Pendant and the Snake Soul Pendant.
What’s more, by finding all 36 Yuanbao Collectibles scattered throughout Los Santos, you will be gifted with the Gold Snake Santa Capra outfit.
However, you don't have long to claim all of these GTA Online freebies, because they are only available for 72 hours ending on 12 February 2025.
GTA V and GTA Online are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. As for Grand Theft Auto VI, that is currently scheduled to be released late this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S (assuming it suffers no delay).
