You can claim a freebie in GTA V but be sure to act fast to avoid missing out because it will be an opportunity missed in one week’s time.

Grand Theft Auto V is considered to be one of the best video games of all time, as reflected by its mighty Metacritic score of 97, earning the “Must-Play” accolade. However, as great as GTA V is, it just fell short of 2008’s GTA IV, pipping it to the post with a score of 98.

Being defeated by one point aside, there’s no question that GTA V isn't one of the biggest commercial successes of all time, which is why it's been ported to every console generation since its original launch on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Yet, as many copies as Grand Theft Auto V have shifted, the biggest reason why it brings Rockstar Games all the money in the world is due to its multiplayer game GTA Online, which comes bundled with GTA V.

In GTA Online, you can work with other gamers to perform the perfect bank heist, buy luxury penthouse suites paid for by your criminal enterprise, take part in epic street races or just simply cause utter chaos on the streets of Los Santos.

You can play GTA Online without spending a penny but many players are enticed by its microtransactions courtesy of the Shark Cards, which gives players a cash boost if they want to buy the best homes, cars and yachts to show off to other players.

You can also get an in-game financial edge by subscribing to GTA+. This subscription service costs £6.99 a month and gifts you with bonus in-game cash, cosmetic items, weapons and sometimes, free games such as Bully.

Right now, subscribers to GTA+ can claim the new luxury Bravado Banshee GTA Sports Car.

“Perfection may be a pipe dream for many, but that didn’t stop Bravado from fine-tuning their iconic roadster to create the new Bravado Banshee GTS. This powerhouse has been rebuilt from the ground up for the modern aficionado,” reads the description of the car.

If you want to claim this car at no extra cost, you need to make it yours before the end of 8 January 2025, otherwise, you’ll miss out.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. GTA VI is expected to be released at the end of 2025.
