PC hit Undisputed is heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, perfect for fans who are craving boxing classics of yesteryear like the iconic Fight Night.
Fight Night is both a beloved and missed franchise. After debuting in 2004, the franchise went on to spawn five entries, with Fight Night Champion being the last to land in 2011. A decade later, reports claimed that a reboot had entered development at EA, only for it to be thrown on the scrap heap one year later. It’s believed that EA instead chose to focus on the EA Sports UFC franchise. If you’re a console owner who’s been craving some of that Fight Night action, you may want to check out Undisputed which is the perfect antidote to scratch that itch.
Take a look at Undisputed in action below.
Undisputed launched in early access on PC in early 2023. Developed by Steel City Interactive, this sports fighter features incredibly realistic graphics and a ton of real-life licensed boxers, making for what is an immersive and impressive brawler. While the game remains in early access, devs have confirmed to Insider Gaming that their primary focus is a console port.

CEO and co-founder of Steel City Interactive Ash Habib said, “We’re fully focused on our console development. We’re going through that process right now in terms of getting us to that version one launch on consoles. Launching the game on Steam or PC platforms is a completely different ballgame when it comes to consoles, so we’re just navigating that path at the moment.” This is great news for console owners.
There are several updates to hit the PC version before that, with Habib adding that they want to add some “gameplay balances”. After that though, “it’ll be a trade off between taking resources off console and putting them into things that we want to see. That’s always been the tradeoff.” As for when we can Undisputed depart early access and launch on console, Habib was hesitant to put a date on it. That being said, he did add, “We’re not a million miles away.” We’ll be keeping an eye out on further developments.
