It is hard to believe that Fallout 4 is set to celebrate its ten-year anniversary this year but with no news of a remaster on the horizon, fans have taken to pushing the game to the limits to see exactly what the Bethesda RPG could look like for modern-day.
Released back in 2015 and still the most recent Fallout entry to have been released (in the single-player category at least), Fallout 4 may not be considered the best in the series but it is still highly regarded by fans.

In standard Fallout fashion, they must then navigate a deadly world as they venture out into the Commonwealth to find their missing child.
Now we can take a look at the Commonwealth in all of its 4K beauty thanks to one fan who has created a video to showcase Fallout 4 with next-gen graphics.
Shared by TransluscentOwO over on r/FalloutMods, the 1-minute video shows us just a glimpse of the Commonwealth as the player lights a cigarette and begins to stroll around the area.
We can see sunlight streaming through the treetops, the dust-strewn roads, and the abandoned cars acting as the only reminder of the civilisation that once existed.

Although we don’t see any gameplay or combat, we can get a feel of what Fallout 4 could look like if it was released ten years later but luckily, this could also give us an idea of Fallout 5’s potential look.
With Bethesda reportedly working on development for the next Fallout title, this could indeed be a sneak peek at what is possible.
For user Sephodious, this video is an impressive feat.
“I love the Fallout series,” they shared.

“I have been playing them forever, but you can only play through the same s**t so many times before you gotta change it up some.
This looks great man, nice job on putting it all together and getting some dope video. Definitely graphically x10 better over vanilla Fallout.”
