With Bethesda seemingly keeping Fallout 5 for a rainy day, many disappointed fans are turning their attention back to another Fallout classic ahead of a brand-new adventure.
Thanks to no new updates and speculation that we may not see it for at least a decade, Fallout 5 is becoming something of a distant dream.
The time has finally come to play as a Ghoul in Fallout 76!
That is why fans are making do with what they already have thanks to 2018’s Fallout 76.

As the first multiplayer title in the Fallout universe, Fallout 76 had quite a rocky launch but almost seven years on, and players are loving teaming up with friends and exploring the vast wastelands.
Especially as Bethesda regularly drops updates for it.
Now with Fallout 76’s 20th Season expected to drop on 18 March, Bethesda has released its roadmap, complete with news of all its content updates for the new patch.
The theme is Glow of the Ghoul, and as you can probably expect, it is set around the irradiated humans present around the wasteland.

Released alongside the Ghoul Within update, players will be most pleased to know that, for the first time, they will also be able to turn into Ghouls themselves.
Ahead of Season 20’s launch on 18 March, the next few days will feature brand-new content such as Scrip Surplus and Double Mutations which runs from 6 March to the 10, as well as Caps-a-Plenty which kicks off on the 13 to the 17.
However, as of March 18 onwards, players will be able to transform into a Ghoul and can even take part in the Leap of Faith quest if they are level 50 or above.
Instead of having to eat or drink, Ghouls will instead have a ‘feral’ meter. As they become more feral, their aim will get worse and their charisma will drop.

However, they will also be able to attack much more and with a lot more strength behind it.
The new season will also offer brand-new rewards such as the Mini Nuke Stein, Goo-Tub, Resurrection poster, and the Unfortunate End which consists of a nuclear waste barrel with a dead skeleton friend inside.
Halloween has seemingly come early to Fallout 76 so if you want to live out your Ghoul dreams, make sure to head over to the Bethesda title throughout March.
