If you have ever wondered what a Fallout x Star Wars crossover would look like then wonder no more as one fan has created just that in an ambitious open-world RPG.
Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Fallout: New Vegas was a 2010 action RPG by Bethesda. As part of a much-loved franchise that spans across six major instalments, New Vegas is still hailed as one of the best with fans praising its replayability and immersive barren wasteland setting.

However, it wasn’t long before one fan seemingly wondered how the game could be even better and thus a project was born which combines New Vegas with Star Wars. Titled ‘Star Wars Open Worlds’, the New Vegas mod will add 12 planets to openly explore, “all with their own breathtakingly unique environments, stories, and characters.”

“We are uprooted from our home and thrown into this galaxy far, far away for the first time, experiencing it from an outsider's perspective,” reads the official synopsis. “Abducted by slavers and recovering from the initial shock, we are left with no choice but to join a small crew planning an escape from captivity, all the while the rising tide of the newly founded galactic empire sweeps across the galaxy! Embark on an engaging choice-driven story which will take you across different planets in the Star Wars universe during the very early years of the galactic empire and their push for supremacy.”
The choice-driven story will allow you to pick between four different paths: Darkside, Lightside, Gray and Sandbox and the choice you make will influence the narrative, your companions and even the game’s ending. Not only that, but the mod will feature a fully customisable system which will allow you to choose everything from your race to your face as well as the ability to unlock various skills and abilities.
At the time of writing this, Star Wars Open Worlds is still in active development but you can keep up to date on the project on its official website and Discord channel.
