There’s so much to look forward to on the gaming calendar, it’s genuinely quite hard to keep up. On the horizon, just to name a couple of things, we’ve got the indie gem Stray coming next month, and the remake of The Last of Us in September.
Beyond that though, Fallout fans have a lot to be excited about. Last month, we finally got a full, proper look at some gameplay footage for Fallout: London (a huge, fan-made, DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4), and it genuinely looks like the stuff of dreams. Now, we just got a swanky new trailer, along with that highly-anticipated release window.
Enough from me, take a look at the new trailer right here.
That’s right, 2023 - there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I mean, sure, we don’t know exactly when in 2023, but a date’s a good enough time period, right? That aside, just look at those environments - they’re so bleak, run down and miserable - and that’s before you get to the post-apocalyptic stuff. England has truly never been better represented, ever.

“Distinct from the base game, the mod will allow the player to visit the previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London,” the Fallout: London team wrote on their website. “In a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. This will allow the player to explore an entirely new setting, interact with new post-war cultures and societies, and see a world distinct from the Americana of the mainline games. It also allows the player to explore pre-war European history and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class-structured society of pre-war Britain.”
Sounds exciting! The project has been in the works since late 2017, so it’s going to be amazing to see what all those years of effort have built up to when it releases next year - there’s not too long to go now.
