Fallout’s renaissance continues. Prime Video’s TV adaptation of the Fallout IP couldn’t have gone any better.
Not only has it delighted viewers, both those familiar and unfamiliar with the franchise previously, it’s led to an unprecedented renewed level of interest in the games themselves.
Bethesda recently announced that it had seen an influx of around 5 million players across several Fallout titles since the TV show debuted - the show itself amassing 65 million viewers in two weeks of availability.

Some Fallout fans even reported being unable to get their hands on a physical copy of Fallout 4 due to widespread sell-outs.
Fallout 4 is perhaps the title that’s seen the largest player surge in recent weeks, exacerbated by the release of its long-awaited new-gen update.
The new-gen update has been criticised by PC users for breaking several crucial mods but on the whole, it adds some nice visual upgrades - particularly for console users for whom mods won’t be an issue.
It’s a shame that Bethesda doesn’t have a full new release to drop or even tease amidst this wave of interest.

You may laugh and joke about Naughty Dog remaking The Last of Us Part I and launching The Last of Us Part II Remastered but with the concurrent success of the HBO show taking place, they knew exactly what they were doing.
Thankfully, it sounds as if Bethesda is working around the clock to satisfy hungry Fallout fans.
We played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast of Fallout. Take a look below.
Bethesda head honcho Todd Howard recently appeared on the Kinda Funny Gamescast to talk about all things Fallout, whilst dropping a couple of Starfield teases too.

It goes without saying that we know that Fallout 5 is coming but given that it’s due to launch after The Elder Scrolls VI, it could very well be a decade away.
As for other Fallout projects, Howard did tease that there are a couple of “other things” that are yet to be revealed.
This comes at a time where it’s rumoured that Bethesda could bring in another studio to help out.
“I would say we've always had those conversations,” Howard explained. “We did a lot of things for the show. It might seem like, hey, there isn't a big new game out, but we added content into 76 for the show. 76 has a really great map expansion that's coming this summer with Skyline Valley. So, we look at what we're doing with the franchise and then we say, do we still feel good about it?”

If you cast your mind back to Microsoft’s trial against the Federal Trade Commission, you may recall that a remake of Fallout 3 was leaked in an official document. Could this be the outsourced project?
It’s a very likely possibility. All eyes on June’s Xbox Showcase.
