Esports organisation T1 has publicly requested that fans of its League of Legends team maintain their physical distance from players after incidents where people have shown up at players' team houses.
T1 is hugely successful, having won the League of Legends World Championship in 2013, 2015, and 2016, and walked away with the Best e-Sports Team of the Year award in the Korea Esports Hall of Fame in 2019.
Check out the trailer for Arcane, an animated show about how the nation of Zaun came to be and the sacrifices it took from those caught in the crossfire.
T1 fans are, understandably, dedicated to the team however lately they have garnered a reputation of taking things too far. In the past week, two trucks have been driven to the League of Legends Park, both with messages of dissatisfaction against the coaches. And now, fans have been found to be turning up at players' team houses.

"It has been brought to our attention that an increasing numbers of fans have been waiting around HQ and the players' team houses," said T1 in a formal announcement to social media. "We would like to ask fans to keep their distance from the players for their safety and their privacy. Please show your respect for the players when they are near HQ, especially before and after the games, as they need to prepare in peace."
"As the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing, refrain from any direct contact with the players for safety measures. We ask the fans for your cooperation to protect and respect the players' privacy as well as create a safe fan/player culture."
