Fan 'Elden Ring' Movie Cast Is Actually Pretty Great

Fans on Reddit have been sharing their casting choices for a hypothetical Elden Ring movie, and some of them are literal perfection.

The internet is still obsessed with Elden Ring. FromSoftware’s controller-smashingly difficult, jumbo-sized RPG had a vice grip on seemingly the entire gaming community when it released back in February, and all these months on, not a whole lot has changed. I, for one, am still stuck fighting Fire Giant, and the less said about that, the better. Meanwhile, over on the r/Eldenring subreddit, one user has taken it upon themselves to make a fan casting for a hypothetical Elden Ring movie, and there’s some genuinely great choices.

All this time on from its release, and the in-game messages in Elden Ring are still hilarious - take a look at some of the best ones below.

A number of notable NPCs have been picked out - RubyEsq envisaged Nicole Kidman (Batman Forever) as the deadly, red-headed sword-wielder Malenia, Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as the deathbed companion Fia, Kristen Bell (The Good Place) as Roderika, and Bai Lu (Love is Sweet) as Ranni the Witch. They also imagined Marisa Quintanilla (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) as Nepheli Loux, and Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Millicent. There was one bonus tongue in cheek casting saved for the very end too, which caught Reddit users way off guard

Others in the thread offered some really solid contributions: “Liam Neeson Could be good for Gideon,” wrote BubBubGubGub. “Morgan Freeman as Pope Turtle,” added AmadeusAzazel. “He definitely needs to voice-act the giant CGI turtle. ‘Absolve your sins with celestial dewwww’,” replied RubyEsq.
