While Hogwarts Legacy is dominating the gaming sphere right now, there are a lot of people who haven't played it for various reasons.
As a result of the association with the politics of Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling, a fair few fans are disappointed that the game exists as some of the royalties will support her, even though Avalanche Software has been adamant that she was not directly involved during development. Protests against Hogwarts Legacy have led to a large amount of funds raised for LGBTQIA+ charities and individuals, which is the silver lining in all of this. Others will be saving up to buy it later down the line and the remainder are likely to be waiting for the last-gen and Switch versions of Hogwarts Legacy that will be releasing in a few months time.

For those who can't sit on their hands til then, there are mods that bring the best of the Wizarding World to the Lands Between. Elden Ring already boasts more spells than Hogwarts Legacy, however modding troupe Garden of Eyes has added a number of specific spells from the game like Expecto Patronum, Accio, Avada Kedavra and more.
The icing on the cake is the use of a fully functional flying broomstick that will take the The Boy Who Tarnished to heights never before seen. It also is a boon in encounters since you can soar out of the way of deadly attacks. PVP battles are possible in co-op mode, and Garden of Eyes has worked to make the trio of Unforgivable Curses a last resort as they will deplete the health and stamina of the user. All of this, and the Harry Potter skin, is available through their Patreon via their custom mod launcher.
