Good news FromSoftware fans, the Network Test for Elden Ring: Nightreign is about to begin, and codes are being sent out to lucky participants now.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is on all accounts a spin-off for the series, adopting the roguelike gameplay format as opposed to a full-on soulsborne RPG like FromSoftware usually creates.
You can see the trailer for the game below, and what’s most interesting about it is it’ll seemingly reintroduce bosses from the Dark Souls games
In the trailer the Nameless King can be seen, and official images also confirm the Centipede Demon and The Duke's Dear Freja will be making an appearance as well.

While the release date for the game is unknown at the time of writing you’ll be able to try it for yourself this weekend if you were invited to the Network Test.
Codes for the test should be arriving in your inbox sometime today, maybe tomorrow depending on how many there are.
The first phase of the test begins on Friday but you’ll have to check when it kicks off based on your timezone, as I know US players will have a very early morning window to play the game.
If you miss your chance to play on Friday though there will be other tests on Saturday and Sunday, so I feel very sorry for the couples out there who’ve had their Valentines weekend hijacked by the game.

This is a great opportunity to not only try the new Elden Ring game before launch, for free, but also provide feedback on what you liked, didn’t like and any bugs or glitches that affected your session.
It’ll be interesting to see what fans make of the game, as it’s such a sharp departure from what we’ve seen of FromSoftware so far, it’ll probably be good though.
