Dying Light 2 developer Techland has snuck a wonderfully weird Dead Island Easter egg into its undead RPG that you won't want to miss.
PC Gamer reports that the recently released open-world adventure is hiding a reference to 2011's Dead Island, Techland's other zombie game. The Left Finger of gloVa blueprint is a special weapon blueprint that can be tracked down and used to create an extra special finger gun weapon.
The Left Finger of gloVa is a sneaky reference to both Dead Island and Techland lead game programmer Bartosz "Glova" Kulon. A very similar weapon, called The Right Hand of GloVA, could be found in the original Dying Light.

To make use of this particular weapon, players must first track down its hidden blueprint. It's tucked away near the top of a skyscraper in the Garrison District. Just be aware that you should probably first complete the main mission Broadcast first, as getting up there without a grappling hook is, as far as we're aware, impossible.
PC Gamer advises players to get to the top of the VNC Tower, where you'll need to look out for a second skyscraper with a long antenna on top and a parachute hanging off the corner. Head to its roof, where you'll be able to solve a brief cable puzzle and explore a secret developer room filled with Techland Easter eggs, The Left Finger of gloVa chief among them.
This is just one of the many secrets players are starting to uncover as they get deeper into Dying Light 2. Just last week, one player discovered the game has a very well hidden - and perfectly rideable - bicycle.
