Who doesn't like a good freebie, am I right? Whether it’s a video game, DLC or something in between, we won’t turn away from some precious free loot.
The free download in question is related to Techland’s Dying Light 2: Stay Human which is just in time for its big content update that dials up the horror in the sequel in the hope of recapturing the essence of the original game from 2016.
So, what is this free download, I hear you ask? As shared in a Reddit post, it’s not just the simple process of clicking a link to download the freebie. Instead, you will be first required to answer a total of 10 ‘What If?’ questions via the Dying Light 2: Stay Human Steam page for PC.

As far as I am aware, you can only take the quiz once and during my attempt I was asked questions like, 'what would I do if I wandered into a dark alley, knowing that I may be trapped by a horde of zombies' or 'what if I was approached by a group of raiders'. What’s more, it also asked 'what I would do during nightfall, knowing that zombies will soon become more powerful. Would I run for shelter or approach the dangers head-on?'
Once I had answered all of my questions, I was gifted with a cool Dying Light 2: Stay Human animated avatar to be used on my Steam profile. Of course, you can ‘right-click’ and ‘save-as’ to use this avatar wherever you may please. For reference, my free avatar was the brutal ‘Demolisher’ zombie type, but your reward may be totally different depending on the answers that you give.
In our review of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, we said it’s: “essentially a by-the-numbers sequel that doesn’t offer much that’s new. But that’s no bad thing when the reality is that I haven’t had quite this much fun with a AAA video game in years.
“Techland’s long-awaited zombie RPG mostly delivers the goods in style, providing an expansive - if not entirely original - an open-world playground that’s filled with epic action, pleasingly brutal combat, and some difficult choices. The end of the world has never been so entertaining. Just try not to rush through the main story, okay?”
