If you’re a fan of feeling repulsed, have I got the game for you. As reported by DSOGaming, game developer Artur Łączkowski, who previously worked for Bloober Team before leaving earlier this year, has now announced that he’s working on an incredibly creepy new third-person horror title, which is being built in Unreal Engine 5.
There’s no name for it just yet, so what exactly it’s about is a bit of a mystery. However, based on a teaser revealed by the developer on Twitter, it’s looking pretty gory, and very unsettling. Be warned - it’s not for the faint of heart.
Before you see Łączkowski’s new project, take a look at the trailer for Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake below.
“Since I left Bloober, it took me a long time before I decided to return to game development,” Łączkowski tweeted. “At this point I can't reveal too much but it's a big project, with big names and budget. We are using [advanced] technology powered by Unreal Engine 5.

“This first demonstration I decided to share, is straight from game engine rendered in real time. Our goal is to cross a boundary that no major developer has yet dared to cross,” he continued. “At this point I can only reveal that it is a third-person survival horror.”
Given that this short teaser sees the player making their way down a dark hallway, it’s obvious that people were going to draw comparisons to Kojima Productions’ P.T., but according to the developer, the new game isn’t directly inspired by it: “You know, P.T. really influenced me […] as a creator, yet this project is inspired only by our sick imaginations, no other game,” he wrote.
At the time of writing, no release window for the game has been announced, but it’s looking very promising so far, and definitely like one you won’t want to play in the dark.
