Bend Studio, the creators behind the PlayStation exclusive Days Gone, have officially teased their next project, which is currently unannounced.
The studio saw limited success with Days Gone, a zombie survival game that was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It received a mixed reception, with the majority of criticism coming from critics and reviewers, but made a strong impression on players. A sequel was supposedly in the works, but was unfortunately cancelled due to the mediocre reception of the first game, as well as a lack of faith in the success of the series.
Bend Studio was then moved onto other projects, none of which saw the light of day, though interestingly it’s believed the studio was involved in developing another instalment in the Uncharted series. Since then, not much has been heard about the studio, or whether they have any new IPs currently in the works.
Now, the studio has officially announced that something is on the horizon, as they recently celebrated their 30th anniversary, and teased that more projects are on the way.

Speaking through their official Twitter account, the studio said: “This year, we celebrate our 30th Anniversary at Bend Studio!
“Established in 1993, our studio continues to evolve from our roots of passion and innovation. Thank you for your support over 30 years of games from Syphon Filter to Days Gone. We can’t wait to show you what’s next!”
It’s currently unknown what titles Bend Studio are working on, though we’re sure to hear very soon. It’s also entirely possible that there’s some form of announcement or teaser planned for the PlayStation Showcase, which will be livestreamed on the 24th of May. Unfortunately, it’s highly likely that the announcement will have nothing to do with Days Gone 2, which may come as a bit of a disappointment to fans.
