The next entry of the long-running Call of Duty series is nearly upon us with Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is the third game in the rebooted series which began in 2019. For the first time in the Modern Warfare series, it will be developed by Sledgehammer Games and it will feature all the maps from MW2 (2009), remastered for a new and returning audience.

Another first for the series is that the ever-popular Zombies mode will be making its debut this year in a Modern Warfare entry, in a big way. However, Sledgehammer Games is no stranger to Zombies, having worked on the mode in previous releases, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Ahead of its launch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will have a multiplayer beta, which is nothing new for the series as it has been a common recurrence over the years. Yet, another beta that is reportedly on the way is one for the aforementioned Zombies mode. If true, this will be the first time this has happened for the mode. Well, that’s at least according to an insider.
The insider that appears to claim that a Zombies beta is on the way is HeyImAlaix. Now, we must stress that the tweet that appears to tease a Zombies beta is incredibly vague, like, really vague. The tweet in question simply features a zombie emoji and the Greek character for ‘b’, which some believe indicates that a Zombies beta is being teased.
Obviously, this tweet could be misinformation or it could be totally unrelated to Call of Duty. We can only guess at this time. So with that being said, we should always take rumours and speculation with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
