To celebrate the franchise, the Call of Duty Next event will give fans the chance to grab some exclusive rewards from tuning into selected Twitch or Youtube livestreams.
With the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III release just around the corner, news about its multiplayer mode is soon to be announced alongside a look at the future of Call of Duty: Warzone. All of this will be revealed at the Call of Duty Next event which takes place on 5 October 5PM BST / 12PM EDT / 9AM PDT.

The event is set to host thousands of viewers and as an incentive to join, exclusive in-game rewards are being handed out to fans who watch live on Youtube or Twitch. There will be four rewards up for grabs and all you have to do to earn them is link your Activision account to your platform of choice. Once you have watched for a certain amount of time (the time has yet to be announced), the items will be added to your game. Additionally, the order in which you unlock the freebies is seemingly random so make sure to keep watching if you want to collect them all.

Up for grabs will be a Death Upload weapon blueprint, Robotic Gamer emblem, Bot Ops charm and Curve Monitor calling card. The items were shared earlier this week via the official Call of Duty Twitter account. Any items you earn will also carry on into your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III save when it releases on 10 November.
Not only is Activision giving away these four exclusive items but it will also be giving away 50 sets of the MW3 Ghost Bomb limited-edition collection. The clothing collection is in collaboration with the LA streetwear brand, The Hundreds and includes a shirt, hoodie, pants, bag and jacket. “Tune into #CODNext for your chance to win 1 of 50 sets of this limited-edition collection”, the Tweet read with a link to the terms and conditions.
If you wish to get your hands on any of these items in time for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, make sure you don’t miss out on the Call of Duty Next event which starts later today.
