Released for the PlayStation 4, the past ten years has consisted of fans begging for a remaster and PC port but with the pleas seemingly falling on deaf ears, it is hard to remain optimistic.

However, according to a recent statement by industry insider DanielRPK, there is a brand-new Bloodborne project on the cards.
"I hear a new Bloodborne game project is in development, not sure if a sequel or a remaster,” they shared via their Patreon page.
Not much else was shared other than that the project is in development at Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Additionally, DanielRPK has previously revealed that a Bloodborne movie is also in the works at PlayStation Productions.

If true, it is rumoured it will be headed by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura & Darren Lemke who previously worked on Goosebumps and Shazam!
As you can expect, this rumour soon saw Bloodborne fans offer their two cents and it seemed to be a mix of disbelief and excitement.
“If it’s a remaster I can almost guarantee it’ll be launching to PC and is only happening because Sony noticed Bloodborne progress on emulators and wants to take the money before the emulator gets completed,” one comment read.
“It's the same bull**it we hear every few weeks. Stop that hopium,” another said.

The emulator in question is referring to a recent project which has seen Bloodborne hit 200fps on PC and it looks pretty damn good.
Hopefully this is indeed the thing that will spur PlayStation and FromSoftware into action after all these years!
